Footwear Design and Development Institute invites applications from potential candidates for its campuses at Kolkata, Chennai, Fursatganj, Rohtak, Noida, Chhindwara, Jodhpur and HRD training centers in Agra, Kanpur, Raebareli, Odisha and Kolkata :
1. Sr. Technical Faculty/Technical Faculty – Footwear
Total No. of Posts : 30
Qualification : Masters/Bachelors in Leather Technology/DFT/SFT/PGDFTM/Equivalent Degree with experience in Leather/Footwear industry
2. Senior Technical Instructor/ Technical Instructor/ Instructor/Demonstrator
Total No. of Posts : 10

Qualification : 8th Pass with short term certificate course in Shoe Design/Pattern cutting/Closing /upper making/Lasting and Finishing/Industry experience.Tenure of Contract : The appointment is on three year renewable contract basis.
Note : Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates and Persons with Disabilities may apply as per Government Rules. The SC/ST candidates shall mention their caste and enclose copy of valid caste certificate. Candidates applying under OBC category must satisfy the caste and creamy layer requirement details as per Government norms. Disabled candidates should enclose a copy of disability certificate issued by a Government hospital, duly attested by a Gazetted officer.
