Rajya Sabha Secretariat proposes to engage Consultants on contractual basis from persons who have retired from the Central Government/ State Government/ Public Sector Organisations/ Autonomous Bodies. Further details are given below :
1. Consultant for Verbatim Reporting Service – 03 Posts
Eligibility : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and a minimum shorthand speed of 160 words per minute in English/ Hindi. Preference shall be given to persons having experience in Verbatim Reporting in English/ Hindi for atleast 10 years.
Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- per month on pro rata basis
2. Consultant for Simultaneous Interpretation Service (English/Hindi) – 01 Post
Eligibility : Master’s Degree in English with medium of Hindi Language upto degree level or Master’s Degree in Hindi with medium of English Language upto degree level. The candidate should have the experience of simultaneous interpretation work from English to Hindi and vice-versa. Preference will be given to persons having experience in Simultaneous Interpretation for atleast 10 years.
Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- per month on pro rata basis
3. Junior Consultant for providing amenities to Members of Rajya Sabha – 01 Post
Eligibility : Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 10 years experience of working in the Secretariat of Parliament/ State Legislature. Preference shall be given to those having experience in work related to providing amenities to Members of Parliament/ Members of State Legislatures.
Remuneration : Rs.20,000/- per month on pro rata basis
4. Junior Consultant for Parliament Questions – 01 Post
Eligibility : Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 10 years experience of working in the Secretariat of Parliament/ State Legislature. Preference shall be given to those having experience in work related to Parliament/ Assembly Questions.
